Casey Perry
Camp Director
Casey is very excited to share in camping ministry with Camp Rockfish and the surrounding community. He believes that all of our life experiences help prepare us for exciting times learning and discovering God’s wonder. Casey is honored to help lead our dynamic team to answer Christ's call for our campers, families, churches, and the world. Casey believes that some of our foundations for C.A.M.P. ministries are in Community, Advocacy, Mission, and Prayer development and to seek God's will and direction for all our lives. Casey is married to an amazing and passionate educator Melissa Perry and is a proud stepfather. Casey and Melissa have a puppy named Maggie and they enjoy hiking and camping with her, as well as going to as many and as diverse artist's performances and concerts as possible.
Jess Horvath
Program Director
Jess is a graduate of The University of Colorado Psychology program and utilizes that background to build group dynamics and communication. Her professional camp journey began in 2012 in Southern Illinois and has most recently brought her to Camp Rockfish where she is excited to bring children closer to God through Nature.

Alexis Cook
Head of Housekeeping
Alexis is a North Carolina native. She joined the Rockfish team the summer of 2021 as a camp counselor. Fell in love with the campus and the mission to "help others experience, grow in and share the love of Jesus Christ ''. Following that summer, I served in our after-school program. became full time staff as the Coordinator of Housekeeping in 2022.
Heather DeTar
Office Manager
Heather is no stranger to Camp Rockfish! Her military family moved to Fayetteville in the late 1970s. She spent her childhood as a camper at Rockfish before eventually becoming a summer junior staff member in the 1980s. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and is pursuing her MBA, Most of her career was in hotel management.

Trez Levi
Retreat and Hospitality Manager
Trez began his journey at Rockfish as a camper in 2017, then joined the Rockfish team in the summer of 2019 and has loved it ever since. Trez began serving full time on the Rockfish team in 2021. Trez absolutely loves meeting new people and working with our campers. Trez’s excitement can easily be witnessed through his energy as seen at camp. Having served in many different capacities here at camp, Trez feels most honored to serve as our Retreat and Hospitality Manager.
Madi Atwood
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Madi grew up and went to college on the coast of South Carolina before moving to Durham to get her Master’s of Divinity at Duke. Madi started at Rockfish in the summer of 2019 as the Duke Intern and, as she says, “couldn’t stay away”! She is passionate about the outdoors, her faith, and serving others.
